Merchandiser

About the Role

1. Collaborate with Hong Kong (HK), China (CN) and Vietnam (VN) teams to track and manage product development.
2. Conduct material sourcing and development to support sample making and production.
3. Closely follow up product development and samples making, including coordination with the sample room and quality control to ensure compliance with standards.
4. Prepare and manage cost estimates, including fabric, trim, Standard Minute Value (SMV), and other components.
5. Coordinate with internal teams for trims, printing, and embroidery approvals, and place orders accordingly.
6. Use GMS (our proprietary ERP system) for effective task management and inventory tracking.
7. Establish and maintain contracts with domestic/overseas suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring timely follow-up on deliveries.
8. Follow up orders from import to export. Resolve issues arise during production in-house or at subcontractors.
9. Coordinate with related departments for production preparation in-house or at subcontractors, including templates, laser cut, and machine rental.
10. Facilitate the receipt of materials and compile inspection reports from the warehouse.
11. Create and maintain fabric and trims balance sheets, monitoring material status and delivery timelines.
12. Develop and maintain production sheets for production in-house and at subcontractors.
13. Prepare paperwork needed for material liquidation as necessary.
14. Prepare and manage invoices, follow up on payments from customers and to contractors and subcontractors.
