About the Role

1. Technical Documentation Development:
Create comprehensive and accurate technical documents (TLKT) in alignment with garment construction standards and production timelines.
Develop a complete set of technical documents to guide and support the production process, ensuring clarity and precision.
2. Technical Problem-Solving:
Identify and resolve technical sewing issues during sample development and bulk production to ensure quality and efficiency.
Provide hands-on technical support to address challenges in garment construction and assembly.
3. Information Integration:
Collaborate with the design, engineering, planning, and sampling teams to gather and translate product specifications into detailed technical documents.
Ensure all approved product samples, design details, and production requirements are accurately reflected in the technical documentation.
4. Technical Detailing:
Illustrate and document technical details of the product, including shape, seam cross-sections, and sewing methods, to provide clear instructions for production teams.
Specify construction techniques, stitch types, and finishing methods to maintain consistency and quality.
5. Cross-Departmental Coordination:
Work closely with design, production, quality control, and factory teams to ensure all relevant information is incorporated into the technical documents.
Act as a liaison between departments to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
6. Quality Assurance:
Review and compare samples and sample photos against technical documents to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Notify factories and quality control teams of any errors or deviations, and provide corrective recommendations.
7. Production Support:
Monitor sample production to ensure adherence to technical specifications and provide ongoing technical support during bulk production.
Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure production aligns with the approved technical documents.
8. Raw Material Inspection:
Evaluate and verify the quality and suitability of raw materials to ensure they meet product requirements and technical standards.
9. Sample Management:
Oversee the delivery of samples and sample photos, ensuring they are properly documented and archived for reference.
9. Additional Duties:
Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Technical Department to support the overall production process and achieve organizational goals.
